Veldhuis94 A wondrous EP that paints a picture that cannot be described with words. Simple as that. Favorite track: Evangeline.
Wyntrr

Wyntrr This EP is out of this world! Production is on point, as always, and the lyrics inspire a whirl of whimsical visuals and emotional tones! All 5 tracks have me itching to turn up the volume as loud as I can handle and dance across the room pretending I already know the lyrics by heart (though I know it won't be long before I don't have to pretend anymore)!
Stellar work, as always! Favorite track: Glass Beads.

Jack Morgan No suprise that this album blew me away, making my favourite track voice really difficult. Evangeline just over takes every other album for now Favorite track: Evangeline.

Evangeline 03:43
I'd spent November adrift in quaint cafés ‘cause all is fine a page at a time Warding off the ghastly mundane You fell at twilight oddly drenched to the bone The words you said went over my head Puzzled by the subtle glow Thought I saw you glitter like shards of ice The white pearlescent hair had me gasp in surprise Splendid in alien grace that I couldn't place Surely just a trick of the light? Our spirits came together without debate Twirling through the air in a magic display Didn't need glasses to see we were destined to be ‘cause I believe in fairytales Spellbound beneath the stars I found the courage to ascend within my heart And it felt just like a dream Evangeline You sought adventure that I knew where to find Put on hold a decade or so Waiting for a partner in crime Whiled away the hours in lavish parks Pestering the crowds with our flowery talk Knee-deep in high-flown romance and its glamorous dance Heedless of the tick of the clock Watched the blue horizon turn red and gold Swearing by champagne to battle the cold You'd sing the heavens goodnight shouting into the sky Legends of your heroes of old Things will never be the same Since you vanished out of sight without a trace Maybe just a dream Evangeline

Glass Beads 03:12
(In an ocean of glass beads) (Floating away) Your sullied dress spoke of gallantry And blueberry stripes on my arms depicted victory Bodies bruised and we didn't care About the twigs caught in our hair Southern clouds grew wicked and bold So we swallowed our pride and made allies with the common cold And cried for peace in disarray Turning cartwheels in the tonic rain Memories Floating away in an ocean of glass beads Wish I could escape and dive But I'm caught on the isle of time And when the sky took an evening blue We'd honor the day and defy our night curfew Counting stars, our fingers entwined And linger in the lunar light My castle walls were state of the art But your kiss on my cheek cast anchor to my feeble heart We were old and love was new Underneath the crescent moon Memories Floating away in an ocean of glass beads Wish I could escape and dive But I'm caught on the isle of time Rescue me And take me away to my ocean of glass beads Wish I could escape and dive But I'm caught on the isle of time Like a rose devoid of bloom Hide-and-seek in empty rooms Since the age police revoked my self-esteem I'd rather play outside Where it's easier to hide And its mysteries endorse my quirky dreams Memories Floating away in an ocean of glass beads Wish I could escape and dive But I'm caught on the isle of time Rescue me And take me away to my ocean of glass beads Wish I could escape and dive But I'm caught on the isle of time

Dear Sorrow 02:48
Sorrow, won't you take it down a notch ‘cause I'm weary of gloom and impatient to bloom So buzz off I've had enough and others do agree Don't go leeching around on unfortunate frowns like me Pure in heart and worlds to see Papers say be brave and straighten out But whenever I try, you grow stronger inside So I doubt (and I don't know what to do) I'm sure you must feel clever, dodging my endeavors Our quarrel can wait Let us rest and mediate 'cause I'm drained and out of great desire to change Seemingly wise Reciting good advice Still I'm lost and afraid Helplessly drowning in the make-believe charade Seeking photographs a lifetime away Someone I barely even know today Maybe it's all a meaningless pursuit I'm just easily swayed by the somber parade And its dew I ought to learn to shove the dread aside ‘cause I'd like to believe I'm not quite so naive as may seem Though it's safe to say I tried Seemingly wise Reciting good advice Still I'm lost and afraid Helplessly drowning in the make-believe charade Seeking photographs a lifetime away Someone I barely even know today

I have been blind Life is an odyssey and flaws are by design Won't let them pull me down Starting to see Somewhere 'tween who I was and who I ought to be There's magic to be found Crystalline crash over me 'cause I define reality Never seen a diamond so bright I just really want to say Hold on tight, it's alright, it's okay Shattered dreams of yesterday Don't lose sight, it's alright, it's okay Now I know, it’s alright, it’s okay Eager to fall ‘cause worn like embroidery it barely hurts at all As long as I carry on Sparkle with pride Shower the tears and cracks with color and delight And moondust to go along Future is now Today is a wondrous chance to rise and move about Unwise to set aside Hard as may seem Even the smallest step's a leap toward your dream Least you can do is try Crystalline crash over me 'cause I define reality Never seen a diamond so bright I just really want to say Hold on tight, it's alright, it's okay Shattered dreams of yesterday Don't lose sight, it's alright, it's okay Now I know, it’s alright, it’s okay Don't be dismayed by the vows that were made When elation is far overdue You'll find the despair isn't quite so severe Holding on to the star that is you I keep the dread in a sweet flower bed ‘cause I know what it's like to be me Won't be defined by the clouds in my mind When there's splendor as far as can see

Daylight’s gushing down the treetops Hear the morning sing of long-forgotten kings I swing by the pre-owned fruit shop ‘cause the orange peel is key in my cuisine Birds hum and crocodiles drum Plenty of space for everyone Hippos lounge in a private swamps where flowers block their view Take a left above the vine stop Where a toucan makes its early stage debut On a jungle forenoon Tiny whisper in my backpack Made me lose the grin and my grapefruit drink (I said) Have the bag but not my lunch snack As an apologetic bee slid down the seam Quaint scenes of emerald green The jaguars wait in line to see A beetle guide tossed to its side by a startled tiger’s roar Some would rather laze in chitchat But it’s oftentimes the thrill that I adore The thrill that I adore Forsaken glades in shady whereabouts Are mostly sound, but hear me out Stay the day on your own account ‘cause reptiles and spiders are downright unkind Enticing joys in teal interior The escapades render me curious Still the night may be precarious But unlike the townscape the jungle is wild and free
